                                                                             2011 Miss Gardendale Magnolia Festival 
                                                                                                     Rising Star 

                                                      The Gardendale Magnolia Festival Rising Star Program is not a pageant, 
                                                                                 but rather a mentoring program for young ladies ages 7-11
                                               (not having turned 12 by Miss Alabama Pageant in June).  The 2011 Gardendale Magnolia
                                             Festival Rising Stars participated in an activity on the day of the Miss Gardendale Magnolia 
                                      Festival Preliminary Pageant.  Rising Stars each received a Rising Star t-shirt and goody bag,  were 
                                           featured in the program book and received one in their goody bag.  The Rising Stars were also 
                                                                                              presented on stage during the Preliminary Pageant.
                                                      At the end of the pageant, and right after Miss Gardendale Magnolia Festival 2011
                                  was crowned, she drew one lucky ladies name out of a bowl, which happened to be Reagan Handley.
                                  Reagan will attend the Miss Alabama Pageant in June 2011 as Miss Gardendale Magnolia Festival
                                  Amber Key's Rising Star.  Reagan will be able to spend one day with Amber at Miss Alabama, and will 
                                  participate in the Miss Alabama Rising Star Program.  This is truly a great mentoring program for young
                                  ladies ages 7-11.

                                   program must be ages 7-11(and not over 11 by Miss Alabama 2011) .  Eligible participants must also
